This mobile application and the website (www.meteorology.gov.mv), (collectively the “App”) is owned and maintained by Maldives Meteorological Service of the Maldives. Unless otherwise indicated, the App is a proprietary property of Maldives Meteorological Service and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the App (collectively, the “Content”) are owned or controlled by us, and are protected worldwide by applicable intellectual property laws. The Content are provided on the App “AS IS” for your information and personal use only. Except as expressly permitted by the Maldives Meteorological Service, no part of the App and no Content may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose whatsoever, without the prior written consent/permission from Maldives Meteorological Service. However users may download material displayed on the App strictly for their own use, provided that the users retain all the copyright and other proprietary notices contained on the materials.
This Privacy Statement ("Statement") applies to persons anywhere in the world who use our app or Services (collectively the "Users").
Maldives Meteorological Service considers and practice strict confidence of any personal details sent when you access our App or other Services in accordance with the privacy rights guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic of Maldives.
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you send feedback to us, or otherwise communicate with us. This information may include: name, email, phone number, and other information you choose to provide. We request permission for our app's collection of precise location from your device per the permission system used by your mobile operating system. However, this will limit your ability to use certain features of our Services. This location information is collected anonymously in a form that does not personally identify you.
We may use cookies to follow the preferences of our visitors and optimize our Services accordingly.
We may use the email address you provide for the sole purpose of technical administration of the App, customer support to users and to conduct surveys to provide, maintain and improve our Services and to personalize and improve our Services, including to provide or recommend features and content, only to the extent necessary in each specific case.

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices and services.
